King Yashaya Eco-innovations Ltd (King Yashaya Ltd) is an eco-sustainability organization established with the primary focus of crafting low hanging innovative solutions that allow people living in marginalized communities to be directly involved in strategic enterprises that promote the fast-track attainment of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the 2030 year target.
At King Yashaya Ltd, we recycle inorganic waste materials to produce useful recyclable products and also use organic waste resources to produce biochar for the restoration of devastated ecologies in water bodies and on land, as well as in the atmosphere.

Founder
Steve Tagoe is an interdisciplinary information scientist who served as Secretary of the Environment and Food Safety Committee of Ghana’s fastest-growing public university for over 12 years. With over 17 years experience in the cleaning, water and sanitation sector, Steve decided to consolidate his experiences into the invention of a multipurpose eco-friendly hybrid machine that provides solutions for environmental pollution in the air, on land and in water. The invention of the Yashaya Eco-Extruder is inspired by Steve’s determination to find a workable solution for the long-term crisis that Ghana faces with plastic waste pollution and illegal mining activities (Galamsey).
